Diggin' up bones!

Ok, I'll admit a fleeting, morbid curiosity. I've often wondered what some of my ancestors looked like in the absence of photographs or painted portraits.

But, I think the descendants of Joseph Bridger have taken the cake.

It seems poor Mr. Bridger's descendants have taken it upon themselves to exume his remains to--among other things--use his skull to do some facial reconstruction (like what they do with the remains of unknown crime victims) to find out what exactly he looked like.

Sometimes, I think it's better to let a dead dog alone . . . oooo, bad choice of words!
