Congratulations for graduations

Heading up to Apopka this afternoon to celebrate with some Blue Darters.

The AHS class of 2010 will actually graduate tomorrow in the old arena in downtown Orlando.

But, it's a lot easier to get a large crowd together to celebrate the occasion on a Sunday afternoon than it is on a Monday morning.

Anyway, congrats to all the grads out there, but particularly to Jacob Hess!

Now, pass the deviled eggs and tell me when the coconut cake is going to be ready!

My niece "graduated" today

From pre-school.

I put the "graduated" in quotation marks, because I'm not sure if that's really the proper term.

I guess it is a big deal to move up to the Kindergarten level in South Carolina.

Kinda like it was a big deal to have an 8th grade banquet where I grew up in West Texas?!

At any rate, eyewitness accounts at the event report my niece actually leapt from the stage after receiving her recognition.

I hope someone caught that on camera.

But, getting pictures out of that neck of the woods is about as easy as finding cheap gasoline . . .

Sorry, Casey!

Couldn't make it to my cousin Casey's high school graduation party today, as I am frantically trying to get "it" together.

I have to vacate these premises tomorrow so the Jenks clan can move in for a few months.

And, as the time to move gets frighteningly closer, I find I still have a lot of loose ends . . . ARGGHHH!

Procrastination is just way too easy, and it got me again.

Anyway, sorry I couldn't be there, Casey! But, I think you know I'm proud of your achievement(s)!!
