Glued to the tube

Well, not exactly.

I mean, I did get quite a lot of things done around the house today. But, the tv served up more than its fair share of background noise. It only got me to sit down and pay attention on two occasions:

1. Gator victory party in the Swamp. Coach Meyer was awesome, especially his recollection of stopping to visit the 50 yard line during a recruiting roadtrip back in 1996. Also got an eyeful Danny Wuerffel. Time has not been his friend.

2. A great series on PBS called "Battlefield Britain." In fact, they're running something of a marathon on my local station, and I'm learning all about the Battle of the Boyne as I type this . . . at least by osmosis!
