John Wayne Key, Sr., RIP

Condolences go out today to the family of John Key, who died late last night at his home in Orlando.

Mr. Key is survived by his wife of more than 50 years Pat; eight children Becky, Cindy, Johnny, Theresa, Jimmy, Randy, David, and Candy; many grandchildren; and a couple of great-grandchildren, too.

The Keys came to Central Florida many years ago from the Wilkesboro, North Carolina, area--many of them in the same old Ford Mustang--a tale that has oft been repeated around my office. You see, of the 8 Key children, 4 of them have worked for us at one point or another--and 2 of the grandsons, too.

Mr. Key was 72 years old, and his passing ended a lot of recent bodily suffering on his part. His large extended family underwent a lot of tribulation themselves as a result. Hopefully, all are at peace today.
