Singing in the Rain!

As I type this, Central Florida is finally getting some much-needed rain.

Not the thunderstorm variety, just the good soaker type. We don't need lightning around here with all the dry wood, grass, etc!

In case you hadn't noticed, we've only had about 3 inches of rain so far this year. Usually, that figure is over 9.

I doubt we'll make up the deficit tonight, but at least we can put a dent in it.

And, the pitter-patter on the tin roof of my covered porch sounds real nice, too.

Kinda makes me sleepy . . . think I'll go take a nap!
