Bad fishing analogy

Sometimes you have to know when to fish or cut bait.

Isn't that just about the most over-used fishing analogy ever? Or, do I just live in the heart of bass-fishing country?

Either way, it may be tired, but it is SO true.

And, no, this has nothing to do with yesterday's election.
