Have you ever pulled everything out of your clothes dryer, folded it all, then found a leftover sock? It happens to me all the time and invariably leads to a big hunt. I thought that obsessive hunt for the sock was a pretty good analogy for all the peculiar little things that embroil me from time to time. Anyway, I thought the blog medium would be a good way to keep track of all these "missing socks!"
I enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Charlene's this morning.

Worthwhile purchase
I got an interesting email today from Greg Starbuck, executive director of Historic Sandusky. ("Sandusky" is the name of an old home near Lynchburg that is briefly mentioned in my recent book.)

Well, technically, the local high school teams started their seasons last week. But, this is the first weekend where all levels will be in play: high school, college, and pro.
